Spring Break

Thanks to those of you who were able to make it to our last event at Bi Bim Bab in Novi, we had a great time (and great food!). Pictures can be found over at the gallery page.

We are going to be taking a break from events for the next few weeks as one of our founders will be traveling overseas for a couple of months. Please stay tuned for updates regarding our next events, including paintball (‘survival game’) and BBQ’s!

Thanks to everyone who was able to make it out last night—we had a great time bowling, eating, drinking, karaoke’ing, etc. You can view all of the pictures on our gallery page.

Special shout-out goes to our friend Miho who soundly trounced all of us with her superior bowling skills.

December Event Recap & Happy Holidays

Thanks to everyone that showed up for our December event. We had a full house, great food, and a fun time was had by all.

Special thanks to the staff and owner of ISSA Restaurant for hooking us up with the excellent deal, providing our contest prizes, and making sure the night went smoothly. Pictures have been posted in the photo gallery.

Izakaya Sanpei Event Recap

Thanks to all of those who attended the Sushi Social at Izakaya Sanpei on Thursday, it was a great success. We really enjoyed ourselves and hope that everyone else did as well. It was great meeting new people from around the South-East Michigan area. Pictures have been posted on the gallery. We look forward to seeing everyone at the next event sometime in September (details to be announced soon).

Welcome to the new online home of the MJPA. We have been working hard these past few months to get this web site up and running, in order to make it a sort of ‘base of operations’ for the organization. We are working on getting the message boards up and running, as well as a list of useful links for those of you living in Michigan.

As many of you probably know, we have recently started expanding through the use of social networking sites such as Facebook and MySpace—thanks to all of you who have joined so far. If you haven’t joined yet, just click on the links to the right, it’ll only take a minute!
