Participants will learn how confectionery is made and how it is traditionally enjoyed as they sample these treats and drink authentic Japanese tea.

The event will be free of charge and held twice–on May 13th in East Lansing and on May 16th in Novi. The East Lansing demonstration on Thursday the 13th will be held from 3:00PM to 4:30PM at the Kellogg Center on the Michigan State University campus. The Novi demonstration on Sunday the 16th will be held from 11:00AM to 1:00PM at the Novi Civic Center on Sunday, May 16th, 2010.
